Plot
Sheryl Bradshaw, a single woman looking for a suitor for a hit 1970s television show, chooses the charming bachelor Rodney Alcala, unaware that behind the man’s kind facade hides a deadly secret. The IMDb team has compiled a list of some notable 2024 films directed by women. Some of Sheryl’s bad experiences as an aspiring actress mirror those of Anna Kendrick herself. Sheryl’s comment about her breasts was “taken verbatim from something that happened to me when I was 19.” The coins stolen from the laundromat are modern coins.

The movie was really good
I Don’t Mind Doing This Written by Morris Bailey Jr. and Lee Phillips Starring Jackie Lavant and The Fashions Courtesy of Jamie Record Co. I thought the acting and direction were excellent. I was really impressed with Anna Kendrick.
I wish it was a little longer and had a few more twists and turns
Some scenes were really great, including the part where they show the dating game and the back. I saw the movies today at TIFF and it seemed like everyone really enjoyed it, despite the serious subject matter. It would have been great if there hadn’t been a strike and the actors could have been in today. One of the producers was there and read a note from Anna which was well received.
I would recommend watching this movie
