The World’s Most Famous Superheroes and Comics’ most famous journalist grapples with the pressures and complexities of balancing work, justice, and fatherhood in today’s society. The pilot is a homage to “Action Comics” #1 (Superman’s debut), portraying the hero’s original Golden Age costume for the first time in a live-action film. The famous green Kanken car is also featured.

Watching Superman try to raise teenagers is a plot twist, especially when he has to face a threat more terrifying than Lex Luthor: keeping secrets from moody teens who really don’t sign up for being half-Kryptonian. Between grounding his kids and preventing the next apocalypse, Superman shows us that it’s hard to be super when you’re in a family that still has to be home for dinner. “Lois” delivers high-octane action with just enough family drama to make it relatable, because deep down, who doesn’t love watching a man who can bench-press a mountain struggling to balance his work and personal life?
